December 16, 2010: Shower Fixtures

Eric is getting in the Christmas Spirit... he's even resorted to praying! (Shh! Don't tell him I said that.)

The corner cabinet door is finally installed...

...and the Wolf stovetop uncovered.

Here is a close-up of the exterior front window detail.

More fun with the faucets...

A little more painting...

And a new glimpse at the photo with which you all have become quite familiar...

Sorry... it was the only Christmas decoration our house would see this year since we are going to Florida to visit my family.

Oh, yeah! The shower fixtures! Guest bathroom...

...and master bathroom (not yet including the hand-held fixture).

December 15, 2010: Vince Visits

Eric helped Tony install the drains under the bathroom vanities. Because of the way they were made, Eric had to do some reinforcing and some creative design. Beautiful work.

Tony also installed the drains in the kitchen.

Fun with faucets...

The painters did some more painting...

Aaaannnnddd... Vince FINALLY paid us a visit!

I think he enjoyed himself!

December 14, 2010: Leona from Pella Drops By

Leona from Pella Windows dropped by to check out the windows and check any damage that might need replacing.

Tony started working on the pipes for the solar water heater at the back of the house.

Calvin worked on some caulking in the same area, while the painters touched up the rails.

Eric had the tough job of the day, converting the exterior hinges on the master bathroom cabinet door to interior hinges so that the door could open.

Here are some other cabinet and under-counter shots:

...as well as some of the faucets.

Yep, it's a pot-filler above the stovetop... :)

Oxtail soup, anyone?

Today was sunup... to sunset...

...with beautiful shades of green.

The boss making his usual daily inspection.
