November 22, 2010: More Details

Short day today. Thanksgiving is Thursday, so there's lots of things to be done elsewhere. But for now, Eric put in the threshold on the servant's entrance and the guest bathroom.

(And by the way, when I say "servant's entrance," it does not at all mean we will be having servants! It's just the entrance we will normally use when grocery shopping or doing laundry or various many other things we will do to upkeep the house!)

November 17, 2010: Hall Flooring

It's cool--and reassuring--to see how the work area is constantly kept in a state of cleanliness and order even though aspects of the construction are constantly changing.


Today Eric and Roger worked on the hall flooring.


And the countertop guy from Aloha State Sales came to take measurements for the bathroom vanities.
